Take Action

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you’re ready or not, to put it into action.Napoleon Hill, writer

Taking action with the foundation of a plan backing you up is supreme. The so-called "experts" will lament the "ready...FIRE...aim" mentality of the entrepreneurial spirit, but there is something to be said about just DOING IT.

Do you suffer from over-analysis paralysis?

Have you thought that nothing can happen until you actually do something? That may seem overly simplistic but, many times, we think that things are going to change or move forward when we haven’t done anything but day-dream or continue to make and readjust plans.

There’s nothing wrong with making a plan. In fact, good planning does precede success, but eventually you must take action. The first step is the hardest, but actually, swallowing your hesitations and fears, and doing something is so righteous.

Is there something that you have been putting off under the disguise of "making plans"? Is it time that you took that action? Do it now and feel the release of positive energy that will follow. Even if you make a mistake, you can always re-adjust your steps and learn. Wisdom will accompany your journey, my friend... now go and DO.

Contagious

How contagious, are you? In other words, how are your feelings, goals and enthusiasms being translated to others that you are trying to win over?
Anything, whether it is sales of a product or service or even ideas, is simply a transfer of enthusiasm. If you do not have that enthusiasm, you have nothing to transfer.

Enthusiasm primarily comes from loving what you do.

Do you love what you do? If not, why? When are you going to start living your best life? When are you going to start doing what you really want to do?

It may seem like an insurmountable task, but not doing what you love and not being a part of what you love is unnatural. You can feel this, can’t you? It is not natural is to be constantly stuck in a rut, doing something that you do not love. It is like driving a car where the wheels are out of alignment. At first, you are able to drive the car. Oh the car will go forward, but eventually the resistance on the axle will build and build until the tires fall off and you crash. Can you feel yourself crashing, can you feel yourself going about your daily life being out of alignment? If so, it's time to break that cycle. Whatever you have to do to simplify your life, you need to do now! When you walk in your purpose you will collide with your God-given destiny!

If the only thing that is contagious lately is your negativity, then it's time to make a change. Simplify your life today and get back that contagious enthusiasm you once had for your goals, your dreams and what you are doing that you have been missing. Start now! What is it that you have always wanted to do, be, or become? Get started right now, put your life back in alignment and get contagious with enthusiasm again!

The Beauty of Simplicity

Ever felt stretched beyond what you could stand and you feel like you are going to snap?
Have you felt like you are running in a million directions and you are getting dizzier than an iceskater on an out of control merry-go-round with an inner-ear infection?

Perhaps it's time that you admited you are living a self-induced, over-complicated life.

We do it to ourselves and this really happens more often to those who are highly creative and motivated people. We get asked to do a great deal of things by people and our egos are so taken by the fact that someone would want our skill sets applied to fix their problem that we want to be the hero and save them from their problems or tasks. Mix this with guilt or fear of hurting feelings and you end up doing a ton of things for others and having no time to do things for yourself.

The problem with this is that you end up doing a bunch of things in a mediocre manner instead of your core important things with excellence. Add to that, enormous stress at missing deadlines and you are toast!

How does one simplify? Here is THE start:

Know what your core purpose and values are. What is your IT thing? What are the 3 most important things in your life and what are your goals? What are you about at the core? Scrutinize everything you are currently involved in in light of these and don't be afraid to start elininating anything... ANYTHING that is not in your core and your goals.

Learn to say, " I am flattered that you asked me to do _______, but, I can't help you, have you asked (name)/ have you tried (method)?" It's more insulting to say yes and give a mediocre performance where you are resentful than to give an honest, "no, but thank you" to someone.

Simplify today!

Cheers
